Every 4th Sunday of the month there will be food trucks at Coopers Rock State Forest, 12:00 – 5:00 pm. They will be located in the large, gravel overflow parking lot just before the Overlook.

So far (as of 5/23) we’ve held two Food Truck Sundays and they’re drawing in people of all kinds … because everybody loves food!
What could be better than a burrito after bouldering, a hot dog after a hike, or a coffee after camping?
We’re working toward hosting a total of eight trucks at a time. The DNR Parks Section sets up picnic tables nearby (@ Climbers Kiosk in SE corner of ‘Overflow Parking Lot.’) The final event, October 27th, is going to be a Halloween Costume Contest… celebrate the holiday and the autumn season at this season finale ‘
All Coopers Rock Foundation proceeds from this event will be spent on purchasing materials for tent pads in the Camp Rhododendron Campground, formerly known as the Side Picnic Loop.
