Come join a BioBlitz! The goals of this citizen science BioBlitz are to encourage community participation in a free, fun and hands-on education activity that will help us discover and learn more about nature at the Coopers Rock State Forest. This event will focus on sampling a diverse but targeted set of the natural world, including birds, mushrooms, trees and plants. Come learn how you can participate in the scientific process and help scientists with data collection by exploring the natural world. In this fun and immersive learning experience, participants will learn how to identify and upload photos of species they find. Downloading the iNaturalist app in advance would be helpful, but not critical.
